New chairman of East Dorset District Council.
Councillor Robin Cook has been elected as the new chairman of East Dorset District Council.
Cllr Cook, who also serves on Dorset County Council, is a former mayor of Wimborne and also headed up the town’s chamber of commerce.
After 51 years in the home furnishing business, he retired in 2010 to concentrate on council and community work.
