A NEW visitor centre at Thomas Hardy’s Birthplace is offering an exciting opportunity for volunteers to get involved.
The National Trust and Dorset County Council are looking for volunteers to work in the new visitor facility, which is due to open later this year at Hardy’s Birthplace in Bockhampton.
The recruits will help welcome visitors and introduce them to the wonders of the woods, heath and Hardy’s Cottage.
An open afternoon is being held from 2pm to 4pm on Monday, June 2 at the cottage for people come along and find out more.
