Swimmer taken to hospital after falling ill at Durdle Door
A 42-year-old man was taken ill while swimming near Durdle Door.
The incident happened at around 2pm on Monday.
Lulworth Coastguard Rescue Officers cleared a landing site for Coastguard Rescue Helicopter 106 on the beach.
The casualty however made a rapid recovery and walked to an ambulance assisted by paramedics and Coastguards.
Wyke Coastguards were also asked to prepare a landing site at Dorset County Hospital but were stood down en route.
