COASTGUARDS helped a boat with engine failure.

At around 12.10pm on Monday, Poole Lifeguards Rescue Boat Legacy went to assist a 21ft Bayliner after the skipper called 999.

The boat was just outside the entrance to Poole Harbour. The vessel, which had six people on board, was towed into Poole Harbour where they were met by Coastguards from Poole who gave safety advice.
