POLICE launched a search for a missing cyclist in Dorchester.

The alarm was raised at around 2pm yesterday afternoon after the 60 year-old French man disappeared. 

He had last been seen in the Martinstown area. 

A Dorset Police spokesman said the cyclist was located at around 10.30pm and found to be 'safe and well.'

From that description it sounds like the guy went up in a puff of smoke - he just was not where he was expected to be!
