A lifeguard rescue boat helped a 21ft Bayliner motor boat after it suffered from engine failure.
The boat’s skipper called for assistance at around 12.10pm on Monday. The boat was just outside the entrance to Poole Harbour.
The vessel, which had six people on board, was towed into Poole Harbour where it was were met by coastguards from Poole who gave safety advice.
