ORGANISERS are hoping to reorganise an event planned to mark Dementia Awareness Week in Dorchester that had to be cancelled due to bad weather.
To mark the week there was going to be a Memory Tree created in the Borough Gardens on Friday last week but due to heavy rain it had to be cancelled at the last minute.
Jo Bazalgette, from the Dorchester Dementia Action Alliance, said that it was hoped the event would now take place later in the summer.
Meanwhile the Alliance is continuing its work to make Dorchester a Dementia Friendly Community.
