TAKE a walk on the wild side and help raise money for Portland Bill Coastwatch.

The charity is staffed by volunteers who monitor the seas along the Jurassic Coast and Portland Bill, seven days a week.

On Sunday (1) they will be having a charity day at Charborough Park on the Drax Estate, just off the A31 between Bere Regis and Sturminster Marshall.

The grounds will be open from 2.30pm-6pm and people can take a stroll through the bluebell woods, see the rhododendron and azalea bushes and enjoy the views.

There will also be cream teas available, as well as crafts, cakes, cards, books and a tombola.

People will also be able to learn about the work Portland Bill NCI Coastwatch do.

Admission is £4 for adults and £2 for children between six- 16 years. Dogs are not allowed.
