AN ELDERLY man seriously injured in a collision in Weymouth remains in a critical condition.
The 84 year-old was crossing Newstead Road near to Asda, when he was struck by a van on Tuesday.
Police say no arrests have been made but are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
The incident happened at around 12.45pm near to the Asda supermarket.
The man was treated by paramedics at the scene following the collision with the street cleaning vehicle used by the Dorset Waste Partnership.
