THERE was plenty of splashing around as Dorchester Sports Centre celebrated the full reopening of its main pool.
The centre held an open weekend as a special thank you to customers after part of the pool was closed for several weeks following storm damage to the roof back in February.
Operators 1610 invited children in to swim for free in the learner and main pool on Saturday while there were also plenty of fun activities running in the reception.
On Sunday 1610 members were allowed to bring along a guest to swim for free.
Sports centre manager Kenny Brown said the open weekend was a great way to say thank you to local people for their patience during the partial closure of the pool.
