YOUNGSTERS in Dorchester will have the honour of naming an iconic new arrival in the town.
As part of its 30th anniversary celebrations the county town’s Dinosaur Museum welcomed a life-size fibre glass reconstruction of the ferocious Tyrannosaurus Rex last month.
Now the attraction is calling on children in Dorchester to help come up with the name for its new resident, who has joined popular long-term resident Tricky the Triceratops in the museum yard. The winner of the naming competition will also win a three-year pass to the Dinosaur Museum.
Youngsters are being asked to email their idea for a name for the T-Rex to info@thedinosaurmuseum.com For more information about the Dorchester Dinosaur Museum call 01305 269880 or visit thedinosaurmuseum.com
