THE CREW of the RNLI’s Lyme Regis lifeboat will feature in flagship BBC One antiques show Flog It!

Lyme Regis received a visit from the show’s production team with presenter Paul Martin, who headed down to the town to spend a day at the lifeboat station and at sea.

Interviews with one of the newest Lyme RNLI crew members, Murray Saunders, and the longest–serving, Colin Jones, were filmed.

Presenter Paul Martin went to sea in the lifeboat ‘Spirit of Loch Fyne’ with volunteer Elliott Herbert at the helm.

Members of the production team were also taken to sea in the harbourmaster’s launch.

The team filmed the lifeboat at speed and an exercise in which a Lyme Regis crew member, Tom Wallis, was ‘rescued’ when he fired flares off Charton Bay.

The episode of Flog It! featuring the Lyme Regis lifeboat crew will be aired early next year.
