MOTORISTS are facing delays after a lorry hit scaffolding in Weymouth town centre.
Maiden Street was blocked in both directions following the incident at the Market Street junction.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said a member of the public contacted the force at around 4pm this afternoon.
The lorry was a blue Mercedes and is registered to a company from Lowestoft and Suffolk.
The vehicle has been removed and no damage was caused.
