DORCHESTER youngsters are being asked to come up with a name for the new Tyrannosaurus Rex model that is now in place outside the Dinosaur Museum.
The life-size fibre glass reconstruction arrived last month and is now sharing the museum yard with long-standing resident Tricky the Triceratops.
The team at the museum are running a competition for local children to suggest a name for the T-Rex.
Youngsters are being asked to email their idea for a name to info@thedinosaurmuseum.com As well as their choice of name and reason for their choice, children need to include their own details including name, age and contact telephone number. The winning entry will receive a three-year pass for the museum. For more details call the 01305 269880.
