DORCHESTER youngsters are being asked to come up with a name for the new Tyrannosaurus Rex model that is now in place outside the Dinosaur Museum.

The life-size fibre glass reconstruction arrived last month and is now sharing the museum yard with long-standing resident Tricky the Triceratops.

The team at the museum are running a competition for local children to suggest a name for the T-Rex.

Youngsters are being asked to email their idea for a name to info@thedinosaurmuseum.com As well as their choice of name and reason for their choice, children need to include their own details including name, age and contact telephone number.
