A FOOTBALL team from Dorchester has signed up a new sponsor for next season.

Dorchester FC’s Under 7s Dynamos team will now be sponsored by Poundbury-based legal firm The Commercial Law Practice, with the firm’s logo adorned on the team’s shirts.

Lee Wilkins, from the Commercial Law Practice, said: “The team are mainly financed by the parents, who also handle much of the coaching. It’s a real community effort, which ties in with our policy of support local community actively.

“There are some great young players in the team so hopefully we are helping to uncover the next big star.”

The team play in a non-competitive Dorset League on Sundays, playing teams from all over the county.
