A FEAR of heights will not stop a determined fundraiser from taking to the skies and making a leap of faith for charity.
Helen Spencer and her colleague Kelly Woodward from Dorset firm The Care Division will be taking on a parachute jump on Saturday to raise funds for the Friendship Club.
The pair are heading up to Salisbury to leap out of the plane for the Friendship Club, run by Laura Kerr at People First Dorset near Dorchester.
Helen said: “Your donations will go towards opening up a range of new activities and opportunities for those with learning disabilities – the heart of what we do at The Care Division.”
The feat is even more of a challenge for Helen as she is extremely scared of heights.
She said: “I suggested it at a meeting and it seemed like a good idea at the time.”
