CHATTY Man star Alan Carr is coming to Dorchester.

The Weymouth-born comedian, who hosts his own hit Channel 4 show, is performing at the county town’s Corn Exchange from 8pm on Thursday, July 3.

Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10am tomorrow, with only Dorchester Arts members able to book tickets before then.

Laura Mulhern from Dorchester Arts said that she was ‘super excited’ to welcome such a big name to Dorchester and expected all tickets to be snapped up pretty quickly.

She said: “We are really super excited about it and we expect it to be sold out pretty instantaneously.

“It’s really nice because obviously he’s local having been born in Weymouth.”

When tickets go on sale they will be available to purchase online at or through the box office on 01305 266926.
