CONCERNS have been raised over a missing 70-year-old man  who may be in the Dorset area.

Police are concerned for the welfare of 70-year-old William Haines, who has been reported missing by his family.

His son Stephen appealed for anyone who may spot Mr Haines to contact police as soon as possible.

He said: "We believe he is in Dorset and we just want everyone to keep an eye out and if they see him to report it to police on 101 immediately.

"Any help at all would be great."

Mr Haines was last seen leaving his home in Warwickshire on Sunday June 15 and is believed to have travelled to the Dorset area driving a grey coloured Skoda Octavia car with the vehicle registration BT62 ZZH.

He was known to be in the Swanage area in the early hours of Monday and may be visiting the Christchurch area.

Mr Haines is described as white, 5ft 10ins tall and of slim build, he has short greying brown hair and a moustache and beard. He was last seen wearing green/grey zip off style shorts.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who has seen Mr Haines or has any information on his whereabouts to contact Warwickshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 23 160614

Why does the Caption (on the main page) say, He is believed to be in Weymouth. When quite clearly it is not the area of Dorset he is likely to be in? Christchurch or Swanage!!
