Open days for families at children's centres
TWO North Dorset children’s centres are holding open days to invite families to see the services on offer.
The Blandford Centre on Black Lane will open its doors on Tuesday, June 24, from 1pm to 7pm, and the centre in Shaftesbury on Wincombe Lane holds its open day on Wednesday, June 25, from 1pm to 7pm.
Amanda Davis, who manages both centres, said: “Many people don’t realise just how much support is on offer at their local children’s centre.
“From fun activities and support groups to health visitor clinics and childcare, we can help families in a number of ways.”
