Coastguard Round-up: Report of missing person in Swanage area
DORSET Police contacted Portland Coastguard after a report of a ‘high risk missing person’ in the Swanage area.
She was located safe and well shortly after the alarm was raised at around 2pm yesterday.
Later in the afternoon the Coastguard also received a report of two overdue walkers in the Studland area.
However, during the initial call the two walkers rang in to say they were fine.
On a busy afternoon, Portland Coastguard also received reports of two vessels that had broken down in Poole Harbour.
Both vessels received assistance from the Poole RNLI Inshore Lifeboat.
