Fire crews called to collision near Charminster
ROAD CLOSURES are in place and a woman has been taken to hospital following a collision on the Old Sherborne Road near Charminster.
Police, fire and ambulance services attended the scene of the incident, which occurred at around 3.15pm this afternoon.
Dorset Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that three fire crews had attended and helped rescue a female casualty from her vehicle.
A spokesman for Dorset Police added that the road closures were still in place at around 5pm this afternoon and it was believed that the injuries the woman sustained were not believed to be life threatening.
