A RAFFLE is being held to raise money to help people suffering from a degenerative sight condition.

Julie Croley of Dorchester is holding a raffle to raise funds to support research into finding a cure for Macular Degeneration, which is the biggest cause of blindness in the western world.

She decided to organise the fundraiser because her mother suffers from macular degeneration.

The raffle boasts many top prizes, including a day for two at Liverpool FC including lunch, a tour, a gift and a chance to meet a legendary player.

There is also the chance to win a sky-diving indoor experience for two, Alton Towers tickets for two and a mother and daughter make-over. Tickets can be bought virtually from magicoxygen.co.uk/ product/raffle2014-01/ Each time a ticket is sold, a real ticket will be put into the draw for the buyer, and all the money raised will be split equally between The Macular Society and Martha Care.
