THE annual Forde Abbey Summer Fair is taking place on Thursday, July 31 near Chard.
The event promises a spectacular day out for the whole family and aims to raise funds for Marie Curie Cancer Care and the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institute. The fair is held in the stunning gardens and house which will be open to the public.
This year some of the attractions include; a classic car display with 150 classic cars, Punch and Judy, falconry, and dog scurry. There will also be more than 60 stalls including plenty of plants, gifts, crafts, and a range of food available; a hog roast, local farmer’s markets produce and homemade cakes from the tea rooms, amongst much more.
All proceeds will be split between Marie Curie Cancer Care and the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institute. There is something for everyone, come along for a great day out while supporting a fantastic cause.
