PEOPLE with epilepsy and their friends, family and carers from across Dorset are invited to come together for a fun packed day.
The Dorset Epilepsy Service is holding a Fun Day on Tuesday, August 19 at the Thistle Hotel at Poole Quay. The free drop in event will celebrate the Dorset Epilepsy Service’s fifth anniversary and launch its appeal.
There will be a chance to speak to epilepsy nurses, a consultant neurologist and paediatrician with an interest in epilepsy.
People attending will also be able to find out more about the support groups available in Dorset as well as enjoying free yoga sessions, refreshments, children’s entertainment and an aromatherapy session. The day will include free public first aid demonstrations by the Red Cross and a children’s epilepsy awareness session.
