Firefighters rescue pair trapped in lift
TWO people had to be rescued by firefighters after becoming trapped in a lift in Poundbury.
The incident happened in a commercial building in Queen Mother Square at around 2.20pm this afternoon.
One fire crew from Dorchester attended to free the pair and one of them, a woman, was checked over by paramedics due to a pre-existing medical condition.
