A PUBLIC examination is set to be held for a pioneering Dorset community’s neighbourhood plan.
The Cerne Valley has been leading the way in drawing up a neighbourhood plan, which will guide future development in the local area.
Deborah McCann has now been appointed independent examiner of the Cerne Valley Neighbourhood Plan and will be holding a public hearing as part of the process of consultation.
The hearing will start at 1.30pm on Friday, July 11 at Cerne Abbas Village Hall.
The purpose of the hearing is to provide clarification and further information and issues that have been identified by the independent examiner.
She will conduct the meeting, deciding who can speak on what issues and for how long.
Those invited to speak have been sent invitations to the hearing and anyone else is welcome to observe, but should not expect to participate in the discussion.
