CAREERS COLLEGE: Learning to be lifesavers

Dorset Echo: CAREERS COLLEGE: Learning to be lifesavers CAREERS COLLEGE: Learning to be lifesavers

In the past week students in Years 8-10 from schools around Dorset have all participated in a careers week at Weymouth College.

We interviewed Tim Hendy, 15 from Wey Valley who was taking part in an ambulance course.

He said that he had enjoyed looking around the ambulance and experiencing the day but the activities that he had chosen hadn’t chang-ed his mind about his future career.

While we were interviewing him the rest of the students were learning how to potentially save a life. By Beth Fox, 15 and Ellie Beale, 14 from The Thomas Hardye school
