Weymouth Careers College allows aspiring Year 10s to experience possible future careers.
The college was offering a variety of courses that you could go along and try out. We went to the ‘Costume Maker’ course and interviewed Jamie Dovell, pictured above, 15, from Wey Valley School.
He said: “I do a lot of performing in my spare time and I would like to go into costume design as well as being on the stage performing.”
Elaine Freedman, the tutor running the course, said: “I’m a costume maker and I think that this brings lots of exciting opportunities all around the world.”
