CAMERAS are set to roll again in West Dorset to film more scenes for the second series of award-winning TV crime drama Broadchurch.
Council workers were seen to put up signs today announcing that the Station car park in West Bay would be closed this evening until Saturday. This is to allow vehicles associated with the production company to park there for the week.
Cast and crew first returned to the area last month, filming under the iconic cliffs at East Beach and at other locations nearby.
Actors joining David Tennant and Olivia Colman in the cast for the new series include Charlotte Rampling and Marianne Jean-Baptiste.
Producers are remaining tight-lipped about the plot for the second series, although the show's Bridport-based writer Chris Chibnall has said that Rampling has a ‘pivotal role’ in the plot.
