ELDERLY people can get advice about benefits at free sessions in Weymouth.

Age UK and Dorset County Council’s Welfare Benefits Team are teaming up for the initiative.

They will hold free advice sessions on the second Thursday of each month between 9.30am and 11am at Weymouth Community Fire Station, Radipole Lane.

The first session will be tomorrow. The sessions are confidential and advice can be given on all sorts of benefits including Pension Credit and applications for disability benefits.

The following session will be held on August 14.

If people are unable to attend either session, they can call Age UK Dorchester on 01305 269444 for details of other sessions across the county.
