Dragon boat racing set to return to Weymouth
DRAGON boat racing is set to roar into Weymouth next month.
The popular event is returning to the resort on Bank Holiday Sunday, August 24.
Almost anyone can enter the event run by the Rotary Club of Melcombe Regis, who are urging people to pick up their paddles and get involved.
A spokesman for the club said: “Come and join us, get wet and help local charities.”
Entry costs £275 for a team of between 15 and 20 rowers and is open to anyone who can swim.All proceeds from the event will be distributed to local charities. For more information and to download an entry form visit rcmr.org
