A ROAD in West Dorset closed after a crash has now been reopened.
The A3052 Sidmouth Road west of Lyme Regis, which runs towards Seaton, was shut in both directions between Shire Lane and Gore lane following a collision between two vehicles about 9am.
The closure disrupted the X53 bus route.
The collision between a red Ford Mondeo and a silver Peugeot Expert van took place shortly before 9am this morning.
There are believed to be no serious injuries and the road was closed due to the damage to the vehicles.
Lyme Regis PCSO John Burton said: “There are no serious injuries as a result of the collision but one man, the driver of the Ford Mondeo, was treated by paramedics at the scene for shock and chest pains."
