Chain ferry suspended for two days
The Sandbanks to Studland ferry was out of action for two days after one of its chains snapped.
Services were suspended on Wednesday shortly after Brittany Ferries’ Barfleur vessel passed the chain ferry at the entrance to Poole Harbour. No sign of a collision was found.
