Flowers set to bloom for church festival
The Holy Rood Church in Wool is holding a Flower Festival and Fete on the weekend of Saturday, August 2 and Sunday, August 3.
The Flower Festival will be in the church from 10am to 4.30pm on the Saturday and 2pm to 4.30pm on the Sunday with a theme of ‘Reflections of World War 1’.
The fete is being held in the churchyard from 4.30pm on the Saturday and will include music from the Wareham Town Band as well as teddies parachuting from the tower and a range of stalls.
