MOTORISTS face traffic delays after a two vehicle crash on the A352 in Middlemarsh left the road partially blocked.

Just after 9.30am this morning, the two vehicles, a black Ford Ka registered to a man from Somerset and a green Renault Megane registered to a woman from Dorchester, collided at the Tiley Knap junction on the A352.

Following the collision, there was an oil spill on the road resulting in the road being partially blocked for more than three hours.

The two drivers were taken to Dorset County Hospital for a check up, though their injuries are not thought to be serious.

Recovery vehicles are now at the scene, but a Dorset Police spokesman said the road may still be partially blocked for some time as the oil spill is cleared up and the vehicles recovered.
