Let’s take the plunge
SWIMTASTIC news – the 32nd annual Dorchester Lions Swimarathon is now open for entries.
The event, which has raised thousands of pounds for charities over the years, takes place on October 4 and 5 at Dorchester Sports Centre.
Sponsorship money is divided equally between the Lions’ chosen charities and those chosen by participants. Each team swims for a total of 55 minutes.
Entry is free and entry forms can be found at Dorchester Sports Centre, Goulds in South Street, Dorchester, or at the town’s Tourist Information Centre. Alternatively, download an entry form from lionsdorchester.org.uk or call Mervyn on 01305 812404 or Andy on 01305 267481.
