Fifteen firefighters tackled a fire in a 67-tonne silo in Winterborne Monkton on Wednesday.
The firefighters, from Dorchester and Weymouth, were called to Manor Farm in the village, and assisted the farmer in extinguishing the fire by removing the grain from the silo to stop the fire.
An estimated two tonnes of grain was destroyed and five-per-cent of the silo suffered heat damage to the fire.
