Laura Mvula truly stole the show tonight with the haunting melodies in her songs.

She took the audience on a moving journey via harps, strings and her ethereal voice - and they loved every minute of it.

It's going to be a tough act to beat across the whole festival. - Liz

Sounds like last night's headline act Jonny Marr was on fine form. Here's our reporter Liz Jackson's take on his set -

Johnny Marr was on top form during his set on the Castle Stage, with the unmistakeable guitar twang that made him so popular with The Smiths.

He played everything from Smiths’ classics such as “Stop Me” to “New Town Velocity” and his version of “I Fought the Law” to a crowd who had clearly been waiting for his gig as the high point of their night.

Living up to his reputation as a skilled performer, Marr more than filled the camp with his music and even from the other side of the site you could hear his set breaking through the surround noise.
