Walks to take in scenic routes along the Heart of Wessex Railway Line
THE LATEST public walks along the Heart of Wessex Railway Line between Weymouth and Bristol have been announced.
The Wessex Wanderer walks for August include a nine-mile walk from Keynsham to Bath Spa on Thursday.
There will then be an 11 to 12-mile medium paced walk from Maiden Newton to Dorchester on Saturday, August 16. The following Saturday, August 23, sees an eight to nine-mile flat circular walk head out from Bradford on Avon before a seven-mile walk from Yeovil Pen Mill on Wednesday, August 27.
The final route of the month is a nine-mile circuit from Upwey on Sunday, August 31 taking in the South Dorset Ridgeway, Friar Waddon and Broadwey. For information call 0117 9798628.
