Candelight vigil to remember Great War heroes
The Wool Royal British Legion is holding a candlelit vigil tonight to remember the outbreak of the First World War.
The event is open to all members of the public from 10pm until 11pm with a free buffet laid on from 9pm.
Anyone attending is asked to sponsor a candle for £1, with all funds going to a new trauma unit for injured military personnel.
