DORSET is in line to be battered by heavy rain today and tomorrow.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for the whole of the South West from 10pm tonight to 8am tomorrow warning.
Heavy rain is expected to sweep across Dorset overnight and the Met Office has warned about the potential risk for localised flooding.
A spokesman for the Met Office said: “A frontal system containing warm, humid air is expected to bring heavy rain to Cornwall and Devon later on Tuesday evening, before spreading to parts of South Wales, the West Country and central southern England overnight. 20-40 mm could fall in some areas within about six hours, leading to some surface water flooding.”
He added: “Computer models are still presenting us with varying outcomes, a few of the latest having lesser amounts in general - hence this warning may be updated later today.”
