Four people have been taken to hospital after a car was turned on its roof in an accident at Osmington.
The A353 was closed both ways following a two car collision at Osmington, between the Warmwell roundabout and Chalbury Corner at Preston, at around 2.30pm.
The accident has now been cleared and the road reopened
A spokesperson for South Western Ambulance Service said: "We received a call about the collision at 14:42 and three ambulances attended the scene.
"It is believed that four patients have been taken to Dorset County Hospital with minor injuries."
The ambulance and fire service were called to the accident by a member of the public at around 2.30pm.
The two cars involved were a silver Ford Mondeo estate and a red Vauxhall Astra.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said the road was reopened at 3.25pm and the accident was fully cleared by 4.05pm
