A seven-metre Rib named Heartbeat required towing after suffering from a flat battery.
The authorities were alerted at around 5pm, with Heartbeat anchored off Hengistbury Head.
Another Rib, named Frisco, landed most of Heartbeat’s crew leaving two people on board who arranged their own tow to Christchurch.
