DORSET Police are on the lookout for more community support officers to patrol the streets.
The force is looking to recruit up to 18 PCSOs for a number of areas, mainly in East Dorset.
PCSOs form an integral part of Safer Neighbourhood Teams across the Force and work closely with local authorities, the business community and Neighbourhood Watch to ensure local issues are tackled effectively.
Chief Constable Debbie Simpson said: “Police Community Support Officers are at the frontline of community policing, and form an essential part of Dorset Police. “Providing a highly visible and highly reassuring presence across Dorset, the role is exciting, challenging, rewarding.”
People need to apply by August 26.
