History project commemorates the Great War
A history project has been organised in Chideock to commemorate the 100 year anniversary of the Great War.
‘Chideock in the Wars’ will take place on Friday, September 12 in Chideock Village Hall, with activities taking place at 2pm and 5pm.
The event will include a play entitled ‘The Chideock Egg Lady’, memorabilia and war-themed tea.
Admission is free but any profits made will be donated to Help for Heroes. Call 01297 489098.
