THERE was a display of pulling power as teams contested the annual Tug of War competition across the River Frome in Frampton.
The event was keenly contested as ever and saw the team from The Three Compasses in Charminster overcome the team Big Bob in the final. Crowds attending the popular annual event were able to enjoy a barbecue, children’s games and some fine sunny weather as they cheered on the competitors.
