WEYMOUTH and Portland Lions Club held their annual Charity Golf Day at the Weymouth Golf Club with a team from Bluebird Coaches taking the first prize.
A total of 60 golfers took part in a Texas Scramble and, in the evening, 73 sat down to a three-course meal.
The day was a great success, raising a total of £2,000 for the club’s Charity Fund, which will be spent on individual cases of hardship and local good causes in the Weymouth and Portland area.
