ROADS around Dorset are becoming heavily congested as holidaymakers head home after the bank holiday weekend.

There are reports of congestion on both the A31 and the A35.

There is heavy traffic on A35 in both directions in Dorchester between Monkeys Jump Roundabout and Stinsford roundabout.

There is also heavy traffic on A35 Main Street eastbound in Chideock between the Duck Street junction and Texaco.

There is heavy congestion on the A31 both ways at Wimborne Minster 

The traffic is moving slowly on the A31 eastbound between Roundhouse Roundabout in Sturminster Marshall and Canford Bottom Roundabout in Wimborne Minster.

The traffic is also moving very slow traffic on the A31 eastbound around Ringwood with congestion to Palmersford Roundabout.
