HOLLYWOOD heart-throb Brad Pitt chose Dorset to launch his latest film.

The A-list heartthrob was at Bovington Tank Museum today to promote ‘Fury’- a Second World War drama.

Pitt, 50, is a long-time fan of Dorset, visiting in preparation for Fury last September and to film parts of zombie-horror World War Z in 2012.

In Fury, Pitt plays a battle-hardened US army sergeant as he leads a five-man crew on a deadly mission behind enemy lines.

The film is set during the last month of World War II in April 1945. As the Allies make their final push in the European Theatre, Wardaddy, a sergeant in the 2nd Armored Division commands a M4A3E8 Sherman tank called "Fury" and its five-man crew on a deadly mission behind enemy lines. Outnumbered and outgunned, Wardaddy and his men face overwhelming odds in their heroic attempts to strike at the heart of Nazi Germany.

The film also stars Shia LaBeouf, Michael Peña and Logan Lerman.

Pitt got behind the wheel of a tank at Bovington last year in preparation for the £80m movie.

It is also believed the A-list star spent some time at the MOD shooting ranges at Lulworth Camp during his visit to the county.

But unlike on his last visit, the hunk didn’t have to don a fluorescent jacket today, and instead opted for a jacket and jeans.

Pitt’s visit came on the day international media exploded after it was confirmed he wed long-term partner actress Angelina Jolie last weekend.

He was spotted wearing a wedding ring whilst in Dorset today. The couple have six children- three biological and three adopted.

A spokesman reportedly confirmed they wed in a small chapel in a private ceremony attended by family and friends. They had obtained a marriage licence from a Californian judge, who also conducted Saturday’s ceremony in France.

It’s believed the couple's children took part in the wedding and Jolie walked the aisle with her eldest sons Maddox and Pax whilst daughters Zahara and Vivienne threw petals and Shiloh and Knox served as ring bearers.
