THE A351 Valley Road has reopened after being closed both ways due to an earlier crash.
The road had been closed between Haycraft’s Lane at Harman’s Cross and Crack Lane in Langton Matravers after an accident occurred at around 4.30pm.
It is understood that the Air Ambulance was called to the scene as a cyclist was believed to have been injured.
An adult male was airlifted to Poole Hospital with facial injuries and a dislocated shoulder.
A motorcyclist sustained a suspected broken leg following a collision with a car in Christchurch Road, Bournemouth, at around 3.30pm today.
The crash took place near Queensland Road in Pokesdown and left the road partially blocked. The driver of the car was reportely uninjured.
The motorcyclist was taken to hospital by ambulance and the road fully re-opened a short while later.
